Hello world!

As I start this journey I want to share a little bit about me and why I decided to start my own blog.

My name is Nikki. I live in Deadwood SD USA. One of the most beautiful places to live.

I’ve been married to the love of my life for almost 30 years. And though they haven’t always been easy, they have definitely been worth it. We have 4 kids and 9 grandkids. And 3 dogs and 2 cats, 1 which has had diabetes for over 2 years.

I’ve been in customer service since 1989, a love and hate relationship lol.

My childhood wasn’t easy at times, but not as hard as more kids out there. I’ll talk about it in later entries.

I struggle with Bipolar and all of the ups and downs that come with it.

I have always wanted to help someone get through a problem that they think is impossible. Or to touch some ones heart when they think one one cares.

I want to make people laugh. To think. And maybe, just maybe to see the world as I see it with all of it’s beauty.

My blog is going to be about lots of things about my life ( no I’m not going to tell you every day what I had for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and my friends and family.

But I will be talking about the crafts that I love to do, the ones I want to try and others that don’t fit in those two categories.

There will be some cooking and baking, which I love to do also.

There will be short stories about and from the people here in Deadwood too. And those that come to visit.

There will be so very many other things that I haven’t listed.

I think that’s enough for now. I hope this intro will intrigue some of you.
